We're lucky to live very close to the Dupont Circle Farmer's Market, which is one of the biggest and best in DC, in my totally unbiased opinion. They have everything from flowers and produce to ready-made foods like lavender-honey popsicles and fresh fish empanadas.

But there is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, like a summer tomato. I could eat tomato sandwiches every day all summer long if my tomato supply allowed it.  In fact, I just ate one today, right before writing this. I like them with mayo, salt and pepper on wheat toast-- and nothin else. How about you?

Deep breath. Today is also...the first outfit post! I was going to agonize over the perfect outfit, but then I decided that the real me on a random weekend just made a lot more sense, and was more in tune with this being fair and fun. I'm working on the nerve to lose the sunglasses :)

As promised, no unfair elements of my outfit are disclosed.
